Stuffed animals, dolls, puppets, figures, vehicles, drawings, and other favorite objects can all lead a story. Add one photo to your free first Storybook, or put the name and a detail or two in your idea to begin.
What makes a good source photo?
For a Photo Character, use a clear image where one toy is the obvious subject, with the details your child cares about visible.
Does DreamPages keep the source photo?
No. The photo stays private, and it is deleted promptly, whether or not a character is made. What you keep is the illustrated character and the book.
Can the same toy return in another story?
Yes. Bring the same toy into an entirely new book, or keep their adventures going as a Series.
Can I include the child and the toy together?
Yes. A story can include more than one saved character. Characters made from a person’s photo—and every story they appear in—stay private.
