Dinosaur bedtime stories

Dinosaur stories with a hiding hill, an echo, and a new trail

Rumble tries to hide his tail and horns from Ruby, then becomes a hill she can sit on. At Echo Cliff, he mistakes his own returning roar for another dinosaur. Oona follows Flick’s pauses away from her usual hollow and finds a dry dip out of the wind. Choose a laughing game, a very silly song, or a slower trail toward evening.

A dinosaur joke, or the last patch of sun?

Ruby and Rumble’s two ten-page stories suit a listener around six. Their hiding game ends with laughter and a sneeze; their echo hunt becomes a song about a pickle on a pancake. Oona’s nine-page story suits read-aloud time around eight. She tests the new ground, folds her legs into a sheltered dip, and tucks her nose beneath her frill as the light fades. Choose Rumble for another laugh, or Oona for a quieter finish with time to watch and wait.
